This is a very unique Gretsch and is based on the very guitar that Mr. Tim Armstong has recorded with and played on stage for many years. This model and the Billy Duffy Falcon are currently the only modern recreations from the "Baldwin Era" offered by Gretsch. This is one guitar we can unapologetically say is even better than the original! The guitar is a full hollow body arch top with a floating bridge design and parallel bar bracing with a sound post. Foi utilizada como hobbie, apenas para passar algum tempo e sempre dentro de casa. Só saiu à rua para trocar as cordas. Está imaculada, sem um único risco ou sinais de utilização. Em Março de mandei-lhe fazer um setup (troca de cordas, ajustes nos pickups e acção) na Fratermusic, um conceituado Luthier da zona Norte. Ficou com um som impecável, óptimo sustain e fácil de tocar. Neste momento apenas precisará de trocar as cordas pois mesmo sem uso estas têm tendência a oxidar. Esta guitarra tem a particularidade de poder soar como uma Les Paul mas também como uma Stratocaster graças ao seu coil-tap. O coil-tap permite que cada humbucker se "transforme" num single coil para dar aquele som "strat". E isto apenas com o puxar do botão de tone. Spear guitar - get them while they're young !!
