História: Ainda construído na casa original da Warwick e à mão na Alemanha (ao contrário dos actuais) e sendo de 1994 o corpo é de Nogueira, madeira (exótica) que já não se encontra disponível para a construção de instrumentos, dando-lhe um som único, cheio de personalidade, muito mais "quente" e com bastante "growl". Sempre foi estimado, nunca teve quedas, tem as suas naturais marcas de desgaste devido ao seu uso normal (que já lhe conferem carácter) e sendo um "maduro" instrumento de 22 anos já se encontra na categoria dos instrumentos Vintage-Relic. The RBX270J is equipped with two powerful pickups that can be used to create a wide range of bass guitar sounds. The front pickup (neck position) is a P-type split single-coil. This produces a warm, punchy tone that's great for diverse playing and music styles. The pickup by the bridge is a J-type single-coil and has an incredibly bright, clear sound. With the balance knob (middle potentiometer) you can choose the sound from the neck or bridge pickup and every combination in between. Furthermore, you have a lot of choices with the master volume and master tone, for example you use these to filter out high frequencies for a woolly jazz sound. Cut from the right stuff The body of the RBX270 has a comfortable, unique form with two cutaways that give you free access to the 24th fret. Additionally, the long upper horn ensures that the bass has excellent balance whether you're sitting or standing. The body is made of solid alder, which is a lightweight wood with tight, full lows, rich mids and bright trebles. The neck also offers excellent playing comfort thanks to the comfortable thin profile. Finally, the bass is equipped with four closed die-cast oil bath tuners. These are self-lubricating so they keep dust and dirt away and are easy and supple to adjust, with the additional benefit of having outstanding tuning longevity.
