Why does the LibreBox has the antennas on the back (or the side, depending on the model) and not inside ? It was a question of choice. We had to choose between a full alloy case and outside wireless antennas or partial alloy (full plastic?) and internal antennas. With this in mind and with the explanation given in the last topics, it is easy to guess why we choose the first one. More than just a question of design, the two external antennas provide a better wireless signal than using internal ones, which is also a good thing if, for example, you are trying to "share" the wireless connection with your neighbour or if you are trying to cover a big area.
