Skills and Competencies: • At least 3 years work experience in the configuration, operations and maintenance of optical fibre, Transmission and IP Networks. • Good knowledge of Optical Transmission Networks technologies – SDH, DWDM and Ethernet. • Good knowledge of optical fibre characteristics and standards. • Basic knowledge of Networking technologies - TCP/IP, BGP, DNS, VPNs, Firewalls, Proxy etc. • Knowledge of a Network Management System. • Ability to use Test equipment (eg BERT, OSA, OTDR, OPM, etc.) without supervision. • Ability to interpret topography, network design maps and AutoCAD Designs. • Experience with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Visio and Outlook. • Capable of multi-tasking, manage time and prioritize workload. • Resilience, Adaptability, Reliability and Confidence. • Teamwork abilities. • Good oral and written communication skills in Portuguese and English (mandatory). • Good reading, listening, communicating and documenting skills. Ready to join us the challenge of digital transformation of prestigious clients?   MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES - Creation and processing of customer requests; - Ensure the follow-up of the interactions (Opening, closing, relaunching, customer notification, completion of technical information and escalation actions); - Apply the necessary actions for the first analysis of the incidents, in order to solve the level 1 occurrences according to the SLAs. Provide alternatives and disclosure patches for the costumers; - Management of the relationship with the customer: carry out the necessary and proper communication for the declared incidents and requests, until their resolution; - Escalate incidents and requests: transmission of out-of-order incidents and intervention requests to the appropriated services; - Understand and apply procedures and instructions.   EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS - Degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics or similar; - Knowledge of Windows and Linux Operating Systems is required; - Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, http, ftp) will be a plus; - Prerequisites: analytical skills (ex. Analyze and identify the causes of an incident), synthesis skills and be comfortable on the phone in order to reassure the customer. - Ability to work in a team and be autonomous. Be able to apply the instructions and given procedures; - Fluency in French is mandatory; - Good level of English would be a plus. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES In this context, you will have as main missions: - Supervision of all technical platforms and client’s applications; - Management of technical events or incidents; - Perform technical operating procedures; - Prepare operating reports; - Propose continuous improvement actions.   EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS - Degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics or similar; - Prerequisites: background experience with Windows and Linux OS, and basic notions of computer databases (including networks); - ITIL V3 Foundation Certification would be a plus; - Ability to work in a team, be autonomous and able to respect instructions and procedures; - Communication and analytical skills would be a plus; - Good level of French and English would be a plus.
